a boy and his tiger

a week from today our little man will be one. 

in july 2011, matt and i went to the zoo with michi and t. i was 8 weeks pregnant. i was fortunate enough to know the miseries of morning all-day sickness and walking around in the blistering texas summer heat. as we were leaving the zoo we stopped by the gift shop. we didn't know yet if our little was going to be a boy or a girl but we did know that their very first stuffed animal would be tiger.

mclain, you are a blessing and we are grateful to be your parents. thank you for the past 51 weeks! we love you so!
