sweet aplin turned 2 months on friday.
i was very anxious for her 2 month check up to see how much she had grown.
being born 11 days early she was smaller than mclain when he was born (5 days late).
but she loves to eat and since i'm her only food source i am very proud to announce that she is growing.
weight: 12lbs 11oz -- 90%
height/length: 22.8in. -- 75%
head circumference: 15in. -- 50%
she surpassed her brother in every area.
if we're being honest, i'm kind of obsessed with her. she is so sweet and loves to be cuddled. i'm looking forward to all the fun we're going to have and all the trouble we're going to get into together.
the other day matt mentioned he didn't want to wear a pair of socks because they were bad luck (he's the superstitious type) and i asked him why they were bad luck. he said he wore them the day aplin was born. now, i know that sounds terrible but it is actually very sweet. there were several scares on her birthday...even the doctors and nurses let down their guard and had us fearing the worst.
she is an absolute blessing. a gift. and we are so very grateful she is ours and that she is strong and healthy.
she is perfect.
i am loving all her squishy rolls--more to snuggle.

Ok, you're making me get baby fever. She's too cute! Isn't it such a proud moment when you realize you're nourishing your child from your body alone?! It still amazes me! Congrats mama! :)
