these boots...

these boots have worked their way into mclain's heart. he asks for them all the time. he puts them on all by himself and prefers them over any other shoe. which if you've seen his shoe collection, it's comical that he would choose these boots. i'm pretty sure matt is ready for him to appreciate the finer things in life, such as his jordan's, penny's or his air maxx95s.

vegas, baby! vegas!

i got to tag along for matt's work trip to vegas. we stayed at the beautiful mandalay bay. 

we ate some delicious food, drank some bubbly, walked 100 miles, 

got the stomach bug, missed our sick babies (they also had the stomach bug), 

went to 6 different shoes stores (obviously), gambled nothing, and danced one of the nights away. 

vegas, we'll be back for you. and next time we won't be sick and we'll gamble it all away ;)

mine are: walking arm-in-arm with my man and the street performers.

aplin's newborn pictures + me + mclain

I've been meaning to post these for awhile now.  These photos were taken when Aplin was 7 weeks old. Our dear friend Taryn, who is amazingly talented, took these photos. She's got a great camera and a great eye. In the past, she's been so gracious to capture and share pictures of my pregnancy with mclain here as well as his newborn pictures here. She's an absolute gem, we love our 'Nonny' dearly.  

Matt was there somewhere. But if you know Matt, he prefers the photo bomb instead of the serious family picture.
