aplin is ONE....and then some.

pretend it's 2 and a half months ago. pretend i'm up-to-date on my blogging. pretend aplin JUST turned one. maybe it's an effort for me to press the pause button on this whole time-passing thing and not me being a lazy mom who can't stop watching gilmore girls during nap time. just pretend....

today at lunch, matt said, "kid's birthday parties are more for the mom, than the child." but i swear, aplin asked for an ice cream sundae party. i can't help that we both have a love of ice cream.
